What will I learn?
Musical Minds Online can teach you to play something cool enough where you can be the center of attention at your next party. In Series 1 you will go from the very beginning through playing at an early intermediate level, in just 9 lessons. From reading notes to rhythm and beyond, you’ll have a fantastic skillset all while learning 10 pop-style, catchy songs. Series 2 levels you up even further so that if you want to play in a band setting or demonstrate your newest party trick, you’ll sound like a star!

In no time at all! Musical Minds Online gets you playing your first song in Lesson 2, and your first pop song with hands together, in the 4th lesson.
Do I need to have talent or experience to start?
You don’t have to have any natural ability to become good at piano; no prodigy required to start with Musical Minds Online! Artist teacher Kristin Yost guides you through all the basics and you always have the opportunity to review each video or segment as many times as you’d like.
How long will it take me to go through each series?
Everyone learns at her/his own pace, so there will be a wide range of how long it takes people for each series. The content if given in-person and the adult learner practices regularly, our best guess is that it will take a very-beginner between 3 and 6 months. If paced more leisurely, plan for 6 to 9. Take your time!
Do I need a piano to start?
You can get started by simply pulling out your phone, watching from your app and then going to the piano later.
How much do I have to practice?
Learning piano doesn’t have to be a huge investment when it can be as easy as any other part of your daily routine. Dozens of lessons in easy to jump in modules make learning at your pace a snap that take just a few minutes as your schedule allows.
Can I download the sheet music?
Yes! All of the music appears on the screen as you are watching the videos but we have a PDF download for all the music in Series 1 and 2. Any other music that we use to supplement can be purchased from external websites.
